Fall Forward

The bedroom glowed with the blue light of early morning. The air had a slight chill and her naked back was exposed in it. One eye slitted against the soft morning light as the other was buried in the pillow. She exhaled slowly, allowing gravity to pull her deeper into the mattress. A hand rested absently on the small of her back. It caressed up and then back down her spine as it sensed her restlessness. She rolled over to look at the sleeping body beside her. Utter perfection she thought as she tucked a stray hair behind Elizabeth's ear. In turn, Elizabeth opened her eyes to blankly stare, smile, and then close her eyes with the smile still lingering on her lips. She nudged herself closer to Taylor.  Read more.
