Creative Writing - Poetry - A Fine Line
by dyvan
Skin another shade of beach
hair ripples on the sea
your eyes hold horizon distance
smile every sailor's homecoming joy
when you speak is a lullaby
of wave movement spell cast on me.
You mark your days
by the moon's slow phases
waiting on the rocks
sunning self by ocean breeze
lips kisses mark sea to land
a shoreline of destiny
limbs long archipelagos
lithe sensuous and free.
Every sigh and moonbeam glance
opens me to you
your perfumes eternal allure
rich salty tang of sea
as I lie alongside you
having travelled further
than any man I thought could
warmth of summer nights
promise of ocean's bounty
to my heart this siren has
the one and only key.
