Dear Old Dad

by Carrie Pålsson

Carrie Pålsson.

I don't know about you, but when I struck out on my own as a young adult I swore to myself that I would never, never, ever, ever, not in a million years live with my parents again. Ever.  Read more.

Rosemarie

by Eva Bell

For many years, I used to take my evening constitutional in Twickenham cemetery during summer. The colourful flowers peeping between marble tombstones, the porcelain angels standing sentinel over graves, the quiet ambience, provided just the right atmosphere for meditation and introspection. by Beverly Tjerngren

Beverly Tjerngren.

Perfect Match

Of all the people in the world, my husband is the one I can call my kindred spirit. It took me a while to find him, and I hit a few bumps along the way to get to him, but once I had him I realized he was well worth the wait. Read more.

Weird Like Me

by Jasmine Odessa Rizer

Jasmine Odessa Rizer.

I have been out of college for a whopping five years now, and I have spent most of them working in a library. I love working in a library, not so much because I love books or care about serving the public, but because I finally have a few kindred spirits in my office. Read more.
