We're pleased to bring you another great issue of Mosaic Minds. This issue focuses on generation gaps of all kinds. Sarah Artis brings us an interview with an author from a future generation while Janette Cole makes a connection with a past generation. Her experience is quite unlike my own fight with the previous generation. Marian Klatt wonders what her grandmother thinks about today's generations baring their souls across the internet while Debra Marshall explores her earliest notebooks full of young angst. Beverly Tjerngren is watching her little girl grow up much faster than the women of our generation grew up, Ellen Buckhorn discusses the quirks of marrying up a generation, and Sarah Artis contemplates bringing a new generation into the world.
Whew!
All that, and we still have short stories, poetry, a beautiful craft project, and so much more!
Two of our regular contributors have moved on to bigger and better things, which means we currently have two staff openings. We need someone who loves reading non-fiction to write a regular non-fiction book review column. We are also looking for an ex-pat to take on our Shifting Spaces column. The successful candidate will be able to make the reader laugh at their predicaments in a new land without disparaging their new country. If you are interested in either of these positions please e-mail a sample of your work to carrieATmosaicmindsDOTnet. Both positions require someone who is capable of meeting a deadline every six weeks.
